April Round Up & May Goals

april round up

Ohhhhh, April, you truly were the best. Filled with long weekends, wedding excitement and getting to see all of my favourite people, I really couldn’t have had a better time this month! Here’s my little round up…

April Round Up

Trying my gorgeous wedding dress on again.

Enjoying a lovely brunch with my favourite blogging gals.

Soaking up the sunshine in Mum and Dad’s garden.

Visiting lots of lovely London hotspots with my fab friends.

Getting crafty with all of our wedding DIYs.

Celebrating Blossom’s Legacy now being a registered charity.

Watching Big Little Lies and loving every episode.

Feeling excited about my upcoming trip to Amsterdam.

Spending a lovely weekend celebrating Easter by the sea in Anglesey.

Launching my very own newsletter (you can sign up here!).

Winning highly commended in my category at the UK Blog Awards.

Having a great night’s sleep at The Hoxton in Holborn.

Watching the London marathon and feeling inspired.

Eating delicious pizza with my lovely sister and cousin.

Drinking more prosecco than is probably recommended.

Laughing non stop for the whole weekend at my hen party.

Feeling like the luckiest girl in the world to have such amazing friends and family.

May Goals

1) Get organised

April brought a serious amount of fun which I loved, but it also meant that I didn’t spend very much time at home. As a result I’m feeling a little bit disorganised and with the wedding creeping ever closer now it’s stressing me out a bit. This month I want to make some time to get on top of wed-min, household stuff and some freelance work so that I can feel a bit more in control again.

2) Read more

Another thing that comes with being super busy is that I haven’t had much time to sit down and curl up with a good book for a little while. I’ve got a whole stack of well recommended reads piled up on my bedside table so this month I want to dedicate a bit of time to getting through them – it is my favourite way to relax after all.

3) Try some new recipes

Cooking is another thing that I love to do but haven’t had much time for recently, so in May I’m setting myself a goal of trying 5 new recipes. Not only will it get me back in the kitchen but I thought if I discover some good ones I could share them here too. Now does anyone have any tips on where to find some good foodie inspo?

How was your month? What have you got planned for May?

  • Sounds like you had the best month Sophie, so many lovely memories too 🙂 My May goals are a little similar, (minus the wed-min, lol!). I want to get baking again, I miss it! I also want to see more of my gal pals – it can be so hard to fit stuff in when we are all so busy! I can’t believe we are almost half way through the year, eep! Immy x

    • I know this year is whizzing by way too quickly! x

  • Have loved seeing the lovely photos of your fab month on Insta, sounds like you have made some seriously great memories and congratulations on your success at the UK blog awards! So well deserved! My April flew by, finally started my blog and and in May I’m aiming to improve that as much as possible alongside a trip to Bath this weekend and Helsinki at the end of the month! Would love to dedicate some more time to reading in May too.

Girl it sounds like you had the BEST month! I followed your hen do on social and it looked like you had the best time! (and you looked bloody wonderful too!). It’s one of my goals to try and read more too, I’m trying to read one book per week as I find it really keeps me on track from being too stressed!
