Okay, okay, so I know I said there’d be no posts around here until January 1st, but I couldn’t resist putting a little post together looking back at 2017. This year has been the best of my whole entire life, and I can’t quite believe how much joy we’ve managed to squeeze into the past 12 months.
These are the things I want to remember from 2017…
Ringing in the new year with my wonderful family and feeling lucky to have them in our life.
Spending a blue sky weekend in London with Sam, drinking expensive cocktails and watching the sunset from rooftop bars.
Meeting our tiny little nephew for the first time and being totally overwhelmed with with love for this brand new human.
Watching Grease The Musical with my little cousins and embarrassing them by singing along to every song.
Reading a feature about my blog printed in a real life newspaper and squealing with excitement.
Countless sunny days spent in my Mum and Dad’s garden doing wedding DIY.
Photographing everything in Amsterdam and eating ALL the brunch with my favourite blogging pals.
Casting my vote with pride in the general election and staying up all night to watch the votes roll in.
Spending the most perfect weekend of my life celebrating our wedding with all of our incredible loved ones.
Soaking in every second of newly wedded bliss in our favourite place on earth, beautiful New York city.
Bringing home our gorgeous little baby cat, Lola, and falling head over heels in love with her.
Celebrating Sam’s 30th birthday with yummy food, a day at a brewery and a super fun trip to the Lake District.
Being a bridesmaid for my beautiful best friend and dancing the night away with the new Mr & Mrs.
Having eight inches of hair cut off and feeling like a brand new woman as a result.
Working with some absolutely incredible brands on jobs that I could only have dreamed of this time last year.
Getting absolutely spoilt rotten by my husband, friends and family on my 28th birthday.
Visiting Edinburgh for the first time in years and remembering why I love that city so bloody much.
Starting a new job for the first time in 3.5 years and remembering how fun, exciting and exhausting it is.
Feeling more content than ever with my lot.
