A weekend in... Anglesey

Until I met my boyfriend 4 years ago, I’d never stepped foot in North Wales before. Now the island of Anglesey, where he grew up, is one of my favourite places in the world. We visited last weekend and I never stop feeling so lucky that we get to visit this beautiful part of the world on a regular basis. It really is a place of a breath-taking natural beauty – rugged mountain views, quaint villages and beaches that wouldn’t look out of place in more exotic locations. On our visit last weekend we stuck mostly to familiar quarters, taking walks in Penmon and eating dinner in a favourite restaurant in Beaumaris. We are planning to return in the summer however and explore a little bit further afield, I can’t wait.

I left the island on Sunday wondering what sort of jobs could afford me the luxury of working in such an idyllic place… suggestions on a postcard please! Here are a couple of photos from our weekend of fun.

Have any of you visited Anglesey? Any tips for next time we venture across?
