Words for Wednesday (#1)
Anyone who knows me knows that I'm a big fan of inspirational quotes. My calendar has a new quote for every month, my computer screen is covered in quotes scrawled on post its and I have framed quote cards dotted around my house. Cheesy as they can sometimes be, I find it really useful to have constant sources of inspiration to hand when I'm having a rough day at work or when creativity is lacking. So it only seems right to include them here, on my own little slice of the Internet. Every Wednesday I want to share a few of my favourites with you and why I love them - it would be great to hear which quotes really resonate with you too!
1) "Stay hungry, stay foolish" - Steve Jobs

This is one of the one's I have pinned to my computer screen so that I get to read it every single day. It reminds me to never settle or do half a job, to always do my best work and to constantly question why. Best of all, it gives me a little surge of energy on days when I need it most (which is usually Mondays...)
2) "We are what we repeatedly do" - Aristotle
(Photo c/o: Deliirious)
I first came across this one on a work course that I went on a few years ago, where they used it to emphasise the importance of forming good habits. It's a good one to keep in mind at this time of year, when resolutions and new goals are still fresh, reminding you that the process is key to the outcome.
3) "It's kind of fun to do the impossible" - Walt Disney
(Photo c/o: Etsy)
Inspiration from the man whose imagination was bolder and whackier than anyone elses. A fun reminder to test the boundaries, dream without limits and to just keep trying.
