What I Wore: The Paisley Print Midi Skirt
Before heading to #TheCityGirls event a few weeks ago, I met up with the lovely Bee to take some outfit snaps. We found this AMAZING orange door (that handily complimented my skirt!) and set to work getting our pose on while strangers gave us funny looks...
Bee was an absolute natural and made my job as photographer pretty easy, while I was a lot more awkward. These were my first outfit shots, and well, I didn't really know how to pose or stand, so we just goofed about and laughed a lot.
Tee - Charity Shop, Skirt - Topshop, Shoes - Primark, Necklace - H&M
I had just picked this paisley print midi skirt up that week from the amazing Topshop outlet store in Slough, and I was pretty happy that the sun came out and gave me an excuse to take it on it's first outing. I really love the colours, and the contrast between the blues and oranges reminded me of all the pretty tiles I fell in love with in Lisbon.
I paired it with my all time fave breton tee (which I think cost me a hefty £2.50 from a charity shop a few years ago) and the world's comfiest Primark sandals. I also added this fab chunky H&M necklace which is fast becoming a staple accessory for me.
So there we have it, my first outfit post. Cringey pose faces aside I'm pretty happy with how these photos turned out, so thanks Bee! Here's hoping I can rope some friends into playing photographer again soon so I can have another go at pretending to be a fashion blogger...
