A Homeware Wish List

If you read this blog regularly or follow me on social media, you'll know that we bought a house recently. I know, I know, it's all I've gone on about for the last two weeks, but it's bloody EXCITING. Pretty much as soon as we picked up our keys I stopped trawling ASOS and dreaming about spring outifts and immediately turned my attention to pretty homewares and Pinterest perfect homes. Our house is currently a chaotic mess of dust and wet plaster and I have all of my bedroom furniture stored in the kitchen, so to distract myself from the mess, I thought I'd put together a little homeware wish list.

Because once we've done all the dull bits like replastering and sanding floorboards and painting ceilings, I will be able to move on to the exciting stuff like cushions and throws and candles. BRING IT ON.

Orla Keily Duvet Cover - £70-100

orla keily bedding

I really love this Orla Keily bedding and I think it would be perfect for adding a splash of colour to our spare room. We're planning on keeping the room quite neutral with cream carpets and grey walls, so this duvet set would really brighten it up.

IKEA Floor Lamp - £50

We're planning on turning our attic room into a bit of a hybrid office/music/reading room. We basically want it to be a place where we can chill out and blog or read or play guitar (Sam not me, no musical abilities unfortunately) and we're going to put our big comfy armchair up there for ultimate relaxation vibes. I think this IKEA lamp will be perfect for positioning behind the armchair for cosy evenings.

H&M Cushion Cover - £7.99

How pretty are these cushion covers? We're currently sleeping on a matress in our attic room, so I'm dreaming of the day we can get our new bed set up and cover it in gorgeous bedding and loads of cushions...

Wilko Rococco Mirror - £25

We have a gorgeous old original fireplace in our master bedroom that has been painted white and I've been looking for the perfect mirror to hang above it. This one is the prettiest one I've found yet and is a fraction of the price of any others I've seen!

Oliver Bonas Lamp - £58

This lamp makes me do ALL the heart eyed emojis. I mean, it's a bloggers dream come true - copper, CHECK, marble, CHECK. They're more expensive than most other desk lamps I've come across, but I'm struggling to find anything anywhere near as perfect...

Oliver Bonas Door Mat - £16

I really want to make sure our new place is littered with pops of colour to keep everything fresh and cheerful, and this door mat is a perfect way of adding some fun as soon as you walk through the door. Who would have thought I'd ever reach the point where I was excited about door mats, eh?
