5 Things I'm Looking Forward To This Autumn
Oh autumn, I love you so much. The crisp sunny mornings, the pretty falling leaves, the dark cosy evenings. It really is my favourite time of year, it always has been. After a pretty crappy end to the summer, I'm more than ready to welcome in a new season and I'm determined to make it a good one. We have lots of fun stuff in the diary, so today I thought I'd share the 5 things I'm looking forward to this autumn.
1) Celebrating Halloween in Disneyland Paris with my family
We've booked a trip to Disneyland Paris over Halloween with all of my family and I can't wait to see all of the kids faces when we arrive! It will also be ace to see the parks decorated in all their pumpkin and witchy glory - I'm sure it will be totally magical.
2) Entering my late twenties
I'll be turning 27 in November, and even though I always though I'd dread entering my late twenties, I'm actually pretty excited! I feel like the older I get the more confident and self assured I become, so I think turning 27 will be pretty fun. Plus, who doesn't love presents and cake?!
3) Redecorating our living room
This is top of my list to get done before winter rolls around - I definitely want our living room looking lovely before it's time to put the Christmas decorations up! I can't wait for it to be looking all chic rather than resembling a charity shop with very dodgy wallpaper...
4) Celebrating at two lovely weddings
We have two weddings to attend in October and I'm really looking forward to celebrating with both of the happy couples. I'm a huge fan of weddings at the best of times and knowing that our own nuptials are growing ever closer makes them even more exciting.
5) A couple of city breaks with Sam
City breaks with Sam are my favourite thing ever and I'm looking forward to enjoying a couple of trips together this autumn. We are going to tag a few days in Paris onto our Disneyland trip and we've also rescheduled our holiday to Rome for November. I think they will both be exactly what we need.
On top of all this of course, I'm also looking forward to cosy fires and fluffy PJs and wrapping up and fireworks and mulled cider and all of the other fun that autumn brings. What are you looking forward to over the next couple of months?
