5 Destinations I Really Want To Visit Again

I know so many people who dislike going back to places that they've travelled to before. I can sort of understand why - when there's so many wonderful places to see in the world, why would you visit the same place twice? That being said, there are some destinations that I think are impossible to do justice in one trip. And there are some places that I have fallen in love with so much that I couldn't bear the thought of not going back.

So without further ado, here are 5 destinations I want to visit again...

1) Edinburgh

1909875_50783351699_63_nDespite being a mere 3 hour train journey away, I've only ever been to Edinburgh twice in my life. Both times I was visiting my friend, Fiona, who studied there and both times I absolutely fell in love with the city. I loved the contrast of the cobbled streets and modern architecture, the big grand castles and the hidden trendy bars.

I really want to vist again in soon - in fact, I'm currently working on trying to convince Sam to let us book a little pre-Christmas trip in December - I think it would be especially magical at that time of year.

2) Berlin

It's such a unique city when you consider it's history, and I love how Berlin has managed to achieve a perfect balance of not forgetting it's sombre past but also driving forward it's creative and exciting new future. If you have any tips for the city then let me know as I am already in planning mode...

3) Iceland

icelandOhhhh, Iceland, where do I begin?! I feel like Sam and I barely scratched the surface when we visited last year and I'm dying to get back to experience more of what this country has to offer. We barely stretched out of Reykjavik and the surrounding area during our last trip, so there is still so much for us to see and do.

Ideally I'd love to drive right around the ring road, leaving plenty of time to experience the epic waterfalls, gigantic ice caves and many volcanoes. And I definitely wouldn't say no to seeing the Northern Lights again!

4) Hong Kong

It was the first time I'd ever flown alone and explored a city all by myself and I found it so exciting - I remember being stood at the top of the Peak and feeling quite literally on top of the world. I'd love to take a trip back and maybe visit more of the surrounding area too.

5) New York

It's no secret that The Big Apple is my favourite place in the whole entire world and I honestly think that if I visited every year for the rest of my life I would never get bored. I've been there 4 times now and every single time I see the Manhattan skyline come into view I feel like the happiest, shiniest version of myself.

I've visited in summer, autumn and winter now, so I'd love for my next trip to be in spring - maybe a long weekend over Easter should be on the cards?!

Have you travelled to any of these destinations? Where would you love to visit again?
