Happy Halloween everyone! Have you got anything fun planned to celebrate the day? We will be spending it at Disneyland Paris and the park is all decked out with spooky details and Mickey shaped pumpkins - it looks ace! This week has been the best one I've had in a long time. It was busy and stressful at times, but there have been so many special moments that have totally made up for it.

Here are my 10 favourites this week...

1) A lovely family wedding

We kicked off the week at Sam's cousin's wedding and it was such a lovely day! The venue was a beautiful old barn in Essex and the day included a pub quiz, humongous pies, fireworks and dancing - basically all of my favourite things. It was so lovely to catch up with family and celebrate with the happy couple and definitely set the tone for a very fun week.

2) Thai takeaway and beers

After a long drive home on Tuesday, Sam and I decided to veto cooking and got a takeaway instead. We decided on our favourite local Thai place and we were not disappointed - it was so nice to fill up on hot, spicy goodness after spending the whole day in the car, and the beers definitely helped too!

3) Visiting Victoria Gate

victoria gate leedsFor those of you who don't live in Leeds, last week something very exciting happened in our city - a new shopping centre, Victoria Gate, finally opened after what has felt like years of construction work. The reason why it is so exciting is that we now finally have a John Lewis in Leeds, as well some of my fave stores, like Anthropologie and & Other Stories. I feel like my bank balance was less excited than me.

4) A little Anthropologie haul

Which leads me nicely on to my next favourite this week, which was treating myself to some lovely little bits in Anthropologie! I could have bought EVERYTHING in there (honestly, everything is so so beautiful!) but I managed to restrain myself and picked up one of their classic mugs, a pretty candle and a couple of books. I feel like there may be quite a few of their products making their way on to my Christmas list...

5) Sunny autumn days

The weather this week has just been total #autumngoals hasn't it?! The leaves have all finally started to turn and the bright golden sunshine has been making them look even more gorgeous. Plus it's been cold enough to wear a coat but not so cold that just going to work requires thermals. If I could freeze the weather like this forever, I totally would.

6) Dinner with the girls

On Thursday evening I headed out to meet the girls for an early dinner at Wagamamas. They have just been on an epic trip to Australia so it was so nice to catch up with them and hear all about their holiday. Plus they brought me the sweetest gifts from Aus and Malaysia which was totally unnecessary but really made me smile!

7) A wedding in a brewery

img_1353Friday brought around another wedding and this time it was two of our loveliest friends tying the knot! It was such a special and emotional day and also so different to any other wedding I have ever attended - the reception was on a barge and the evening do was in a brewery! It was such a lovely day and Sam and I were so happy to be a part of it.

8) A hotel room with a view

We stayed at the gorgeous Hotel Basss (full review coming soon) for our night in Paris on Saturday and we had the most amazing view of the Eiffel Tower from our room. We were able to watch the sun set behind it and take in the sparkly show all from the comfort of our bed - it was total bliss and made for a perfect start to our trip.

9) A sunny Sunday in Paris

OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERAThe weather was totally glorious here in Paris yesterday - I'm talking bright blue skies and golden light EVERYWHERE. It was super warm too and we even sat outside without our coats on to eat lunch which is pretty mega considering it's nearly November! I loved strolling around in the sun and soaking up some much needed vitamin D.

10) A fab first night at Disneyland

After a full day of exploring Paris yesterday we jumped on the train to Disneyland. We had a fab first night in the park - we rode Space Mountain, took loads of photos of the castle and watched the epic Disney Dreams show which was very magical! I'm so excited to spend the next few days here making memories with my family.
