The Personalised Gift You Need To Know About
I used to pride myself on being a brilliant gift buyer. I was always able to find something quirky and unique to give my friends and family for their birthdays or Christmas and would get a real buzz from finding the perfect pressie. But recently, I've lost my gift giving mojo. Just last week I was at a total loss of what to buy my Mum for her birthday and don't even get me started on the impossible task that is buying gifts for our wedding party. It feels like there isn't anything that unusual or personal out there any more - everything has already been done, and sometimes the sentimental stuff can feel a little bit useless. No one wants to receive a gift that just becomes clutter, do they?
If you're in a similar gift giving rut, then I have got the perfect solution for you today. You've all heard of Olivia Burton watches, I'm sure - they're classic, wearable and downright gorgeous and they've been the Instagram watch of dreams for a good few years now. But did you know that you could have them personalised? Nope, me neither...
When the team at Olivia Burton got in touch with me to tell me about they now personalise the watches, I was really excited. I love this idea because I think it's just such a great gift. It's functional and something that the recipient will wear everyday (especially when they're this pretty!), meaning you haven't wasted a load of money on a sentimental but kinda useless gift. But the personalisation gives it that extra thoughtful touch and makes it totally unique and personal. Win win.
The watches are personalised by stamping a special name, word or date to the leather strap. When the team at Olivia Burton suggested that I might like mine stamped with my wedding date, I couldn't resist. I've put the watch away in it's box ready to be opened once I'm a married lady (yikes!) and I can't wait to be constantly reminded of such a happy day.
You can have the watches personalised online for £30, but if you're local to Yorkshire and would like to get your hands on one, then I have good news for you! This weekend Olivia Burton will be offering free personalisation during an event at the Luxe Wakefield store this coming Saturday. The event, which will be running from 11.30am - 5.30pm, is in celebration of their new shop in shop concept and you can have your watch stamped with up to 7 characters (including one of those cute love hearts!) for FREE. Perfect if you need to get a nice gift sorted, even better if you just fancy treating yourself to something special.
