Dreaming About Spring

Happy Tuesday you lovely lot! Just a quick post from me today because I'm having a super busy time of it at the mo and I feel like I've barely had a second to sit down and write nice posts for you all. I can't complain though, because everything is going swimmingly - work is exciting and challenging, and my weekends recently have been a lot of fun. But still, it doesn't leave me tonnes of time to put together intelligent and articulate posts, so I hope you'll all forgive me for simply swinging by and sharing my favourite new spring dress with you all...

I picked it up just before we headed to Barcelona a few weeks ago, and was chuffed when I realised that it was actually warm enough to wear it without tights - something that feels even more of a novelty after battling with the Beast from the East last week!

In my opinion, it's the perfect kind of dress for spring. The midi length eases those post-winter pasty pins into bare leg season. The floral print gently nudges a monochrome wardrobe in the direction of summer brights. And best of all, it looks just as good with a chunky knit jumper layered over the top, which let's face it, is pretty essential in the UK until at least May.

It's made me super determined to really embrace the softer style of spring dressing this year - I want to make the most of floaty midi skirts, colourful prints and pretty accessories. And I can't wait to wear them in beer gardens or to BBQs or while navigating my way around brand new cities.

So you could say that this dress has got me dreaming about spring big time. Surely it can't be that long away?
