Happy Monday, you lovely lot! How has your week been? I hope it's been filled with lots of happy moments - mine certainly has! Despite having a stinking cold, last week was one of the nicest I've had in ages. So let's crack on with this week's favourites, shall we?

1) A morning in Paris

My week started in Paris, which in my opinion, is how all good week's should start. We had the morning there before catching our flight home, and we spent it eating pancakes, drinking coffee and wandering along all the pretty back streets. Definitely the best Monday morning I've had in a while!

2) Baking banana bread

We arrived home from Paris at around 3pm, and I decided to prolong those holiday vibes by spending the rest of the afternoon baking and cooking in my kitchen. I whipped up my first ever loaf of banana bread using Kate La Vie's recipe, and I have to say, it was SO delish.

3) Taco Tuesday with the girls

On Tuesday evening I met two of my best friends in Soho for a Mexican feast at Breddo's Tacos. It's been a while since I've seen them both, so it was really lovely to have a good old catch up over some delicious food - it definitely made a rainy Tuesday much more pleasant!

4) Booking a trip to the Peak District

One of the things I'm really keen to do this year is visit some of the places in the UK that have been on my bucket list for a long time. The Peak District is high up on that list, so I was very excited to book a little weekend away there with my oldest friends this week. Roll on April...

5) Daffodils

It feels like there have been a few little signals that spring is on it's way this week (I have been very much appreciating the lighter mornings!) but the daffodils arriving in the shops is always my favourite. My lovely husband treated me to a couple of bunches, and coming home to them sitting on my dining table on Tuesday evening put a huge smile on my face.

6) Planning season 2 of This North Works

This week I've been thick in the planning of season 2 of the This North Works podcast, and I'm so excited to bring it back! I've got some great guests lined up, and even managed to record a couple of interviews this week which I can't wait for you to hear. I'm so passionate about this project, and can't wait to see what 2019 has in store for This North Works.

7) Launching some new things

Last week I launched some 1:1 coaching packages and also announced my new workshop series, The Mindset Masterclasses. Both have been in the works for a really long time, so finally getting them out into the world felt amazing, and hearing all of your feedback and encouragement was so lovely too.

8) Blog and Beyond event

On Saturday afternoon I went along to the Leeds Blog and Beyond event. I had been invited to sit on the panel discussing all things blogging, and I had such a great time. Blogging is one of my very favourite things to chat about, and I got to meet lots of new faces too.

9) A little date night with Sam

After the event Sam and I had a little date night in town, visiting two of our all time fave Leeds spots, Bundobust and Friends of Ham. We've both been really busy recently, so it was lovely to spend some hanging out in this city we call home, drinking lots of beer and chatting about the projects we've both been working on.

10) A walk in the Dales

Yesterday Sam and I drove out to the Dales for a walk in the sunshine, and we had such a lovely day. We did a big loop that covered Malham Cove and Gordale Scar, and the sunshine even came out for the majority of it. It was so nice to get lots of fresh air and vitamin D - just what the doctor ordered!

How has your week been?
